Over the last six months or so time and to some degree even space has become pretty much meaningless. Everything that happened happened online, somewhere that wasn't even a real place. I used to think this was a joke, but I've actually seen a guy wear something like this. Under his nose.

For the last three days I've been using the public transport regularly. The situation with the virus is improving, but it's still a good idea to wear a mask while you're on the tram or train. The pandemic is far from over, but businesses are starting to reopen. I guess that includes wherever my neighbors work, because their dog has been barking more or less constantly since morning. You know how every movie about an epidemic ends with a group of scientists finding the cure? A man or woman in a labcoat triumphantly raises a testtube  to the light, which shines through the liquid inside just so, and... that's it. Government officials say things will probably start returning to normal after Easter.
Church officials say they're thinking of postponing Easter celebrations until things return to normal.

That's one point for the church, I guess.

It has occurred to me that, if I'd got the job in England, Japan or France, I would now be stuck far away from home, possibly in a more dangerous place, with no idea when I might be able to come back. Imagine, you can and should be working from home, but you can't go home anymore.

I get that I need to check my mail more often, now that the Plague is upon us, but did you really just ask me to respond to your email within two minutes?
